Storage Requirements

For optimal shelf life and quality the product should be stored below 30 degrees and off the ground in a cool dry place, protected from direct sunlight.

Yes. Chickens eat to their energy requirements more than to when they feel full. Thus, by providing your chickens with a higher spec feed, you should see a reduction in consumption. To put that into perspective for you, chickens eat on average 130g per head per day. By providing your chickens with a feed such as Nesty Complete, you may find your hens eat 110-120g per head per day. Results may differ between flocks.
What makes Nesty Complete better than using a standard chicken feed?
Nesty Superfoods can be added immediately into your chickens regular diet with no adjustment period necessary. Always have clean water available.
Can I feed Nesty Complete as a treat?
Yes, Nesty Complete can be fed as a treat or as a complete feed in your flock (hens 16 weeks or older). Nesty Complete has a rich blend of whole and crushed grains, making it an appetizing option as a treat for your chickens.
What age can I start feeding Nesty Complete?
Nesty Complete is designed to be fed to poultry from point of lay (16 weeks) onwards.
Can I feed Nesty Superfoods and Nesty Complete at the same time?
It is not recommended to feed Nesty Superfoods in conjunction with Nesty Complete. Nesty Superfoods is designed to be mixed in with a standard chicken feed (roughly 15% protein or less). Nesty Complete has specifications higher than a standard chicken feed, making it not a suitable blend with Nesty Superfoods.
Can I feed Nesty Complete to poultry other than chickens?
Yes, Nesty Complete can be feed to all poultry older than 16 weeks. It is not recommended for chicks (babies) or pullets (juveniles).

If using Nesty Complete, there is no need to add Nesty Superfoods as it is not a standard chicken feed with higher levels of protein (16%), fat (5%) and calcium 2.5%. Using either Nesty Complete or Nesty Superfoods will help with egg quality.
